He had the mind of a killer when he saw her
And he had the heart of a lover when she smiled
Every man that touched her burned into his gaze
And they could feel his misery from a mile away
He was scared of her
When she should have been of him
And he was terrified
That he would never be the man to win
So he took into his own hands
To make her his and no one else’s
He would steal her from the world
Let her know how he felt
And if she refused him
She would soon learn the face of regret
He made his plan and took hold of future
He took her, tied her, and starred at her for hours while she slept
She looked so peaceful, like an angel, his angel
And he decided he couldn’t kill her
He couldn’t take that face from this world
So he left, and he went to the man she loved
He killed him instead, he had to
When he returned she awoke to his face a foot away
Blood smeared on his white shirt and grin hiding away
It was the guy she saw every day and had grown to love from far away
She had fantasies of him rescuing her from her life and sweeping her away
And now she was here, with him a foot away, and she smiled as wide as she could manage
And he hugged her, untied her, and they kissed like they were lifelong companions
He told her what he did, entrusting his life to her
And she said thank god, because she was tired of the back of her boyfriends hand
Across her face everyday, her bruises were hiding away
And she cried in joy and he laughed as his courage grew
They hid away for the rest of the days
Keeping the truth at arms length
Not telling anyone of his misdeeds
And loving each other so much its all they could see

Soulmates
You know i want to be with you
for me there's nothing more
to dream of you beside me
and dance upon the shore
Though times i know are difficult
and you cannot be here
Then dream of me beside you
in thoughts i will be near
You say that we are soulmates
to me those words ring true
for when i try to sleep at night
my thoughts all run to you
I know that there is magic
and you have been touched too
perhaps if we both can believe
the dreams just might come true
But until then I'll be there
as you will be for me
to help you pass through worst of life
for friends we'll always be

Daddy
You promised to take me
away on the holidays,
me and mum packed my bags
and I'd jump around giggling,
an excited 5 year old.
Mum would stand in the doorway
as I sat happily at the window
awaiting your near arrival...
I was the little girl,
who sat by the window......
waiting.....
But you never came,
only a friend, of the name,
Dissappointment.
Mum would shake her head and sigh,
it was she who felt my pain,
who made excuses for you...
I was the little girl,
who sat by the window......

From an Insecure Girlfriend
I'm sorry for the excess of apologies
And for all the thoughts that I've indulged
For dealing with the summer full of insecurities
That I only half-divulged
It's not easy living as an irrational being
That's motivated by her fear
But I could stand the poison I feed myself
If it stayed out of your atmosphere
I'm just a little lost, and a little dazed
At having someone that finds me fit
I've never had something this remarkable before
But I doubt I could have held on to it
And though I continue to learn and grow
To the shadow of the girl you deserve
There's still that something deep within
Controlled by assumptions both grand and
